About the Speaker:
Ashok Dahal is a Geomatics Engineer working in the field of applied Earth science. Er. Dahal possess Phd degree from University of Twente. He is also visiting faculty at ITC and at JPL/Caltech, Nasa. His field of expertise is in applied earth sciences, utilizing geospatial artificial intelligence and geodetic observations for multi-hazard modelling.
His research focuses on developing methods to extrapolate beyond observed data, particularly exploring the impact of climate change and geophysical processes on regional and global scales, with a special emphasis on data-sparse regions like Nepal.
