Geoseries #4: Parcel wise land valuation

Er. Harisharan Nepal is one of the first batch alumni of Geomatics Engineering from Kathmandu University. He has further earned M.Sc. in Land Management and Land Tenure from the Technical University of Munich, Germany securing DAAD scholarship. Currently involved in policy level assignment as Chief Survey Officer, he has gained 11 years of professional experience from district level Survey Offices, Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority and Survey Department in the field of direct public service delivery, cadastral survey and land registration, planning and budgeting, land-related complaints investigation, international boundary amongst others. He is continuously involved in research activities mainly in the field of Land Management, Property Rights, Land Economics and Geo-informatics. His innovative approach to GIS-based land valuation has been selected as the top 10 ideators of Idea Hunt Season 2 organized by the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.
