Hackathon

Nepal Geomatics Engineering Society collaborated with some leading geospatial technology organizations in Nepal as well as global and regional organizations working with OpenStreetMap to organize a hackathon to develop the best algorithm that can be used to effectively split a geographic area into tasks for field mapping. The event attracted more than 100 geodata enthusiasts including Geomatics Engineers, Computers Science professionals, and students and we were able to promote the application of geospatial technologies and the geomatics engineering domain in general.

The Field Mapping Task Splitting Algorithm Hackathon has concluded, leaving us amazed by brilliant minds who crafted innovative solutions using OpenStreetMap data.
